Daniel Lonsdale
Daniel Lonsdale is an aspiring IT professional. His passion for IT began with managing a large Minecraft server and building his own PC in middle school. In high school, he went on to join his school's cybersecurity club and participate in state and national cybersecurity tournaments with a focus on Linux and Cisco security. After high school, he had an internship at one of Exelon's Security Operations Centers where he learned about incident response, querying data, and working with a team in an IT setting. In college, his focus was on cross-cultural understanding and language learning where he graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language. Since then, he has reignited his passion for IT, passing the CompTIA A+, working on labs, and studying for the CompTIA Net+.
